This Privacy Policy explains how Techlevations (“Techlevations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use a Techlevations application, website, connector, API integration, automation, data synchronization service, or related support service (collectively, the “Services”).

This policy applies generally to Techlevations Services used with customers and third-party platforms. A Service-specific notice, customer agreement, or data-processing agreement may provide additional details. If a separate notice conflicts with this policy, the more specific notice controls for that Service.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the Service and the features you authorize, we may collect the following categories of information:

We collect information directly from you, from the organization that authorizes your access, automatically when you use a Service, and from connected third-party platforms at your direction.

2. Information from QuickBooks and other connected services

If you connect QuickBooks or another third-party service, Techlevations accesses and processes only the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested integration functions. Depending on the integration, those functions may include creating or synchronizing customers, products or services, invoices, payments, registration records, balances, or related status information.

Techlevations uses connected-service data only to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the applicable Service; comply with your instructions and contractual obligations; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with law. We do not use connected-service data for unrelated advertising, and we do not sell it.

Your use of a connected service is also governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Techlevations is an independent provider and is not sponsored or endorsed by a connected-service provider unless expressly stated in writing.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

4. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to perform a contract, follow your or our customer’s instructions, pursue legitimate interests such as providing and securing the Services, comply with legal obligations, or act with consent. You may withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

Techlevations does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Customer-controlled processing

For many Services, Techlevations processes information on behalf of a business customer. That customer determines which information is submitted, which accounts are connected, which users receive access, and how the information is used. In those circumstances, the customer is responsible for its own privacy notices, legal basis, instructions, and responses to individual requests. If your request concerns information controlled by a Techlevations customer, we may direct you to that customer.

7. OAuth tokens and credentials

Connection tokens and similar credentials are treated as confidential security information. We use them only to maintain the connections you authorize, restrict access to personnel and systems with a business need, and apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to their sensitivity. You can revoke a connection through the connected provider when that provider offers such controls, or request assistance from Techlevations.

8. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Service, maintaining transaction and audit history, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, protecting security, and satisfying legal, tax, accounting, or contractual requirements.

Retention periods vary by the type of information and Service. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely isolate it. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups and logs until they are overwritten through normal retention cycles.

9. Disconnection and deletion requests

You may disconnect a third-party account using that provider’s connection-management controls when available. Disconnection prevents future access through that authorization but may not automatically delete information previously processed or records we must retain.

To request access, correction, export, deletion, or assistance disconnecting an account, contact Techlevations using the contact information in Section 16. We may need to verify your identity and authority. If we process the information for a customer, we may refer the request to that customer. We may retain information when required or permitted by law.

10. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted network transmission, secure credential handling, logging, monitoring, and backup practices appropriate to the applicable Service. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe information or an account has been compromised, contact us promptly and revoke affected third-party connections where appropriate.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

Our Services may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, session security, preferences, fraud prevention, and basic operation. A specific Service may provide additional notice if it uses optional analytics or advertising technologies. You can configure browser controls, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of a Service from working.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing, and to appeal a decision. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right. These rights are subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and direct verification with the individual. You may lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy regulator.

13. International data transfers

Techlevations and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers across jurisdictions. By using the Services, you understand that privacy laws in the processing location may differ from those where you live.

14. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and address it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy at this public URL and update the effective date. We may provide additional notice of material changes when appropriate.

16. Contact Techlevations

For privacy questions, requests, complaints, or account-disconnection assistance, contact Techlevations at austin@techlevations.com. Please identify the applicable Service and customer organization, but do not email passwords, access tokens, financial account numbers, or other sensitive credentials.
